St. Stephen’s welcomes student musicians from local colleges and universities to hold music recitals in our Sanctuary. Recitals need to be scheduled at least six (6) weeks prior to the date of the event. The standard fee for recitals is $175.00, with a $75.00 deposit due no later than three (3) weeks prior to the scheduled event, with the remainder due for payment one week prior to the event. (The event will be considered “confirmed” upon receipt of the $75.00 down payment.) One dress rehearsal is included as part of the recital fee. We need to know the approximate number of people who will attend the event, and if you plan to hold a reception after the recital. (Alcohol is not permitted for receptions held in the Sanctuary narthex.)

A complete agreement will be drafted upon receipt of event confirmation and down payment.

The Sanctuary is not available for recitals or rehearsals at the following times/dates, due to religious observance or prior scheduled events:

  • Sunday mornings between 8:00am through 12:30pm
  • Wednesdays between 11:00am and 2:00pm
  • Wednesday Evenings during the OSU academic year
  • The week prior to Christmas, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
  • Ash Wednesday
  • Holy Week
