Believe it or not, Earth Month (April) is just seven days away. All during the month, and not just on Earth Day, volunteers will be working on environmental projects. A national Earth Month Ecochallenge is recruiting volunteers in all sorts of categories, from strenuous to light. Local teams are getting organized to compete in hours and projects. One local team is being sponsored by Simply Living. There’s also a Green Bexley and an Otterbein University team. Green Columbus is also organizing Earth Month events and is the host for the Earth Day Celebration on April 23rd.
Many of the volunteer opportunities are family friendly. So please get online and volunteer during Earth Month.
