Interfaith Open House at KTC Buddhist Temple

Nine years ago, when I was in training to become a spiritual director, I went to an evening prayer service at Karma Thegsum Choling Buddhist Temple. I had first learned about the temple from a student when I was the chaplain at Kenyon, so when I had to go worship in a different faith tradition as part of my training, KTC was an obvious choice. It was a beautiful service and I was made to feel very welcome there.

A few months later, the temple was burned in an arson attack. Many faith organizations and individuals made donations to help rebuild the temple, and I am so glad that it has reopened. They will hold an Interfaith Open House on May 21 from 1-3 PM to welcome all of their supporters to their new space.
