Book Club for January 2020
Starting in 2020, Book Club meetings will be alternating between second and first Wednesdays of the month.
Book Club News: The January Book Club meeting (Wednesday, January 8) is a chance to suggest books for consideration for 2020. The 3 rules are: 1) You must have read the book already and think it would be a good book for discussion, 2) The book must be readily available at local libraries and/or available to purchase in paperback, and 3) Up to 2 suggestions per person. Once all suggestions are made, a list will be compiled for voting. Everyone is welcome to suggest titles for consideration and to attend book club, whether it is your first time or you’ve been attending for years. Kaethe Sandman will be hosting anderson.sandman@gmail.com). Please contact Kaethe at least one week prior to the meeting to let her know that you will be attending. Note: This is imperative, due to parking restrictions in the neighborhood. Kaethe needs your car license plate number to enable you to park without paying. Carpooling is encouraged. We’ll begin at 6:30 with a shared meal (please bring food and/or beverage to share). After dinner we’ll all share our suggestions. For 2020, we’ll alternate second Wednesday and first Wednesday throughout the year, starting in January with the second Wednesday. January is a great time to come to Book Club if you’ve been considering joining in. All are welcome!
