We’ve been blessed to have Patricia with us for the past two years. Sadly, her residency is coming to an end. In our diocese we use the term “residency” for what would be called a curacy in another diocese. Curates and residents are newly ordained priests who serve under an experienced priest for a year or two to finish their on-the-job training. Patricia has been a wonderful resident here, and we’re all going to miss her very much.
June 25 will be her last Sunday with us. We are planning a potluck following the 10:30 service, when we will have a chance to give her gifts and say our goodbyes. We will order a main dish, and will ask all of you to bring side dishes. If you don’t want to cook, please sign up to help set up or clean up. There will be a sign-up sheet on the welcome table in the Sanctuary for the next two Sundays.
