Alive! Program Starts on October 8

This Fall, St. Stephen’s is pleased to join All Saints Episcopal Church’s Alive! Program. Developed by Fr. Jason Prati, Alive! is an adult formation program that will teach you everything you want to know about liturgy. From October – May the program will focus on the liturgical year, enabling us to draw closer to Christ year after year by diving deeply into the story of his Birth, Life, Passion, Death and Resurrection.  Swirling around vibrant theology found in the Collects, Feasts, and Hymns of the Church Year, Alive! will set you on fire for Christ and assist you in coming alive in your Faith!

How can I participate?

There are 3 levels in which you can join “Alive.”

1)      Level One: On the second Sunday of each month we will gather in the chapel to watch and discuss a video of Fr. Jason teaching about Episcopal liturgy. This will begin after the 10:30 service on October 8th.

If you wish to go deeper, you can join…

2)      Level Two: Gather with other parishioners for a meal once a month.  Two or three reflection questions will be sent to each group to chat about during your dinner that tie into the theme for the month. We will try to organize a variety of groups to meet your needs. Please sign up at the welcome table by the Woodruff Avenue doors or by clicking here

If you wish to go even  deeper, join Level One & Level Two, and then join…

3)      Level Three: This group will meet once a month to dive deeper into the theme of the month based off a specific reading for the month, i.e. Scripture, Patristics, Theologians, etc.
